A short film is defined as a film that lasts below 30 minutes.
Films can be submitted in any language, English subtitles are a must in all non English and non Italian spoken works, while English subtitles are favorite in English spoken material.
There is no limit to the number of entries a filmmaker can submit, each entry can be submitted in more than one category.
Your application authorizes Buffalo Roots Film Festival to show your entire film, or portions of it, during the festival.
The screening events may include a limited number of winners, either in part or entirely. Not all submissions and winners may be screened.
Films that are not selected for our annual and semi-annual events may request that links to their submitted work or pages be published on our website.
We may display your film posters, trailers, full length, links, and your details on our website. If you would like us to post your projects, do email us.
We may use and display your film posters and information on our website. In case you do not want it to be published, please let us know. In contrast, if you would like us to post links to your projects, email us with the details and we will do so.
You agree not to hold Buffalo Roots Film Festival responsible for any damage, loss, or liability resulting from your submission. In case you decide to withdraw your submission and remove information about your work, we will do so. However, submissions are not refundable.
The event is sponsored and organized by WREP Media Company, Berlin, Germany.
